| - Gin and Milk
You ever have one of those days where you turn off the A/C for no
reason, and then you turn it on, but it never gets back going, and your
house is 90 degrees, so you go to Wal-Mart and buy fans and new A/C
filters, and then you realize about three hours later that you actually
just never flicked the switch all the way too "cool" and feel like a
dumbass.
No?
Me neither.

| Holy crap, I think these two weeks are a deliberate attempt to make my body try and quit.
This past week: Monday - game; Tuesday- game; Wednesday -nothing, miraculously; Thursday- game; Friday- game and Cinco de Cinco fiesta, home at 5; Saturday- games...with three hour rain delay, for a combined eight hours of softball, ending at 11:30 p.m., drive to Sherman, miss Final Blowout, stay up drinking until 8 a.m.; Sunday, wake up at 10 a.m., go to Rangers game.
This week: Monday - Rangers game; Tuesday- probably a lot of tracking kids down and writing; Wednesday- FC Dallas game; Thursday- either baseball game or drive to Austin or both; Friday- State Track Meet; Saturday- baseball or FC Dallas or both, followed by another drive to Sherman; Sunday - AC graduation, and at some point, a supposed return trip to Funkytown.
I need to eat more than one sandwich a day to make it through this. Let's not forget the continual input of alcoholic toxins into the body as well. I'm sure that is really helpful.

| This is weird, but I would like to give kudos to the Austin College
student body for being a year late....reading my post from Feb. 2,
2005.....

(The list of potential bands from CAB last year)
Jack Johnson Ben Harper John Mayer Muse Air Norah Jones Ben Folds Cross Canadian Ragweed Bob Schneider Cam'Ron Rakim Naughty by Nature Black Star Murphy Lee Eve 6 Death Cab for Cutie Flickerstick Gavin DeGraw Lil' Mo The Wailers A Con Modest Mouse The Pixies Violent Femmes WilCo
How about we stop fucking kidding ourselves, realize that out of those,
the only ones we could afford is Bob Schneider, and MAYBE Death
Cab. And I swear to God, if we get Eve 6 on campus, I will
personally start an "Austin College Still Lives in the Nineties"
campaign for somebody to take over when I leave. PLEASE realize
that Muse currently tours the largest arenas in the UK, and are
therefore an incredibly unrealistic option. Cross Canadian
Ragweed should get a gig at Calhoon's or something where they will be
more appreciated, even though I would like to see them at some
point. Bob Schnieder will make the most people happy, and unlike
the rest of that list, attainable.
VOTE BOB.

Only a year late, and on a day I sorta worked late. Hope y'all had fun.

| Last night at the bar, I decided I needed "a better paying job, a good woman, and a good beer" at night.
Then someone reminded me that Lone Star Beer is my girlfriend. I might need to re-prioritize.
Who wants to be my good beer?
